YMCA Bournemouth as a charity are continuously investing in their services to offer the highest standards possible for our customers/ members/service users. We are pleased to announce our plans to improve the Poolside area at The Junction Sports & Leisure Centre, a much needed investment for an extremely popular facility.

The refurbishment works will include new flooring for the surround of Poolside, the new flooring will also be extended out to the corridor leading to the wetside changing facilities. The decoration of the Pool Hall will be included in the works as well as essential health & safety compliance jobs. The changing facilities will also receive uplift works at the same time.

All works will be carried out between Monday 10 August - Sunday 23 August 2026 inclusive. During this time, the Swimming Pool and Wetside Changing Facilities will be closed to our members/customers/hirers.

We understand that this may cause an inconvenience to our regular Pool users with this facility unavailable for a short length of time, the gymnasiums, fitness class programme, tennis courts and main hall will remain open. If you wish to place your membership on hold during the closure, please email your request to info@thejunctionbroadstone.co.uk.
